[#Hash_Tech] State-of-the-art collaborative robots (첨단 협동 로봇 기술) Robots, which were mainly introduced to manufacturing sites, have recently been applied to various industrial sites due to the growth of cutting-edge technologies. On this week’s #Hash_Tech, we introduce the application of the state-of-the-art collaborative robots. First, we visited a store which provides ice cream cups that are made by a collaborative robot. When a customer makes an order, the robot can automatically extract the ordered ice cream. The collaborative robot can also show entertaining movements, so it can satisfy all the five senses of customers. When entering the name of the customer into the kiosk, the name is shown on the monitor while the robot is making the ordered ice cream. Also, we introduce another collaborative robot that makes jewelry. For the mass production of jewelry, wax injection, drying and washing stages should be done repeatedly. And the collaborative robot can replace those works to reduce fatigue of human workers. We explore the ongoing development of collaborative robots, which have evolved into a colleague that can cooperate with humans.
